and Chris Smith flew into Sonoita AZ to come out and compete in
the Grand Canyon Brittany Club trial and flew out with the
Amateur Gun Dog win and a 3rd with their own two dogs "Buddy"
and "Coltrane". Matt handled and Chris scouted while Buddy
really put on a show. He handled at extreme range like he was on
a string. With 2 finds, a big race in this wide open country and
strong powerful finish he couldn't be touched. Coltrane too did
a picture perfect job with his experience hunting wild birds,
handled with ease with squeaky clean bird work and a nice front

Canyon Brittany Club hosted the weekend events and "Huachuka
Loki" and "Harley" both took placements in the Open All Age.
Both dogs ran true all age races with powerful front running
braces and beautiful limb finds so far out we couldn't tell if
they were dogs pointing or a piece of wood on the side of a
hill. These grounds are our dogs type grounds with rolling
hills, open grass lands and nice draws to find birds. The type
place that really shows off the power and athleticism of this
type dog. These two did respectable jobs with flawless races,
easy handle, and perfect bird work. Loki took second and Harley
a forth. Good work guys and thanks to the hard work of scouting
from Chris Smith we were able to place these two dogs.
